The most anticipated event of the year returns to Le Prese: the ninth edition of the “Festa dello Spazzacamino – The tradition continues...”, organized with passion and dedication by the Associazione Spazzacamini di Le Prese.
A special weekend awaits on Saturday, May 31st and Sunday, June 1st, dedicated not only to fun and good food but also to the memory of two historical figures of the area: Ernesto Villa and Marino Cappelletti, known to all as “Batenda”.
The festival will take place at the Campo Sportivo di Le Prese, in Sondalo, transformed for the occasion into a gathering place full of flavors, music, and joy for both young and old.
It begins on Saturday at 5:30 PM with the official opening of the festival and a rich Spazzacamino aperitif, immediately kicking off an explosion of taste and tradition. Following this, the dinner will bring the best of local cuisine to the table: sciatt, pizzoccheri, trippa, spezzatino, capretto, polenta, salsiccia, braciola, patatine… and to top it off, the unmissable Spazzacamino dessert.
But Saturday evening certainly doesn’t end with dinner: starting at 10:00 PM, the celebration comes alive with music and entertainment. On stage will be Rokita, Bruno Ligari, and to finish the night beautifully, the dj set and disco with Rebecca Love. All in a festive atmosphere that will also engage the little ones, thanks to a dedicated area with inflatables and entertainment.
The day of Sunday, June 1st picks up at noon with another convivial moment: the lunch, which will offer specialties from both the sea and the land. You can savor dishes such as octopus salad, mixed fried fish, devil-style sea snails, as well as hearty dishes like wild boar stew accompanied by the unmissable polenta.
The afternoon will then be entirely dedicated to families and children, with music and entertainment in the company of Gonfiabilandia, which will transform the area into an open-air playground.
And if the weather should misbehave, there’s no need to worry: the festival will take place even in bad weather.
Two days to come together, honor the memory of those who have left their mark, and celebrate tradition with a smile.
We look forward to seeing you in Le Prese: the tradition continues... with you!
