Sondalo is getting ready to welcome autumn with one of the most anticipated events of the year: on Sunday, October 12, 2025, La Miğiondàra, the traditional gastronomic walk that celebrates the season of warm colors, authentic flavors, and ancient alpine traditions, returns. Now at its fifth edition, the event winds through the charming village and the woods of Migiondo, transforming into a unique experience to be enjoyed outdoors, amidst nature, culture, and conviviality.

A day of taste and fun

The heart of the event will be, as tradition dictates, the tasting route, which includes 5 or 7 gastronomic stops depending on the chosen BontàPass. Each stop will offer sweet and savory specialties that highlight the Valtellinese tradition and seasonal products: from the Cocktail de Samichêl with chestnut cookie to tiramisu with marron glacé, passing through ricotta cannoli with apple or wild chestnut cream, polenta with lughènega buìda, pumpkin malfatti with cheese fondue, the traditional Cornàt sila préda this year served with figs, to the classic Brašchēr de Miğiónt (chestnuts) accompanied by mulled wine or hot tea.

Alongside the gastronomic stops, the program offers numerous initiatives, both confirmed and new, for young and old: accordion music and folk songs, nature workshops, demonstrations of ancient crafts by the useo Vallivo di Valfurva, guided tours, activities with Alpine Guides, and donkey rides. There will also be stands featuring local crafts, where you can purchase traditional Pezzotti and other local excellences.

la Miğiondàra in Rosa

The Miğiondàra in Rosa returns, a special trekking with a new path to explore, guided by the Mountain Guide Laura Besseghini and the naturalist Benedetta Sala. An experience that combines discovery, nature, and well-being, with an important charitable value: part of the proceeds will indeed be donated to the Associazione Amazzoni ODV.Music and grand finale

Music in the woods of the village

The day will be enlivened by live music from Il Teo di Lecco and will culminate in a special appointment: the concert of the band I Tirataie, a Folk&Roll group from the Dolomites, performing for the first time in Valtellina. A festive finale to celebrate autumn together.

Passes and tickets

Various options are available to participate in the event:

• Classic BontàPass (16 €): 5 gastronomic stops;
• Buongustaio BontàPass (25 €): 7 stops, with lunch included;
• Rose BontàPass (35 €): guided trekking, breakfast, and Buongustaio BontàPass.

Tickets are available for pre-sale until Friday, October 10, at the InfoPoint di Sondalo or online at sondaloturismo.it and bormio.eu. On the day of the event, they will be available at an increased price, until sold out. All participants will also receive a free keepsake photo. For children, some activities will be free; others accessible with the MiğiondàraCard (5 €), which can be purchased directly on-site.
