From May 21 to 24, 2025, the meeting room of the Polifunzionale di Sondalo hosted the art exhibition "Feeling at Home - Internal and External Landscapes: a Journey Inside and Outside the Home to Explore Oneself". The initiative was promoted by ASST Valtellina Alto Lario and the Municipality of Sondalo, and is the result of the 2024 Art Therapy Workshop of the Centro Psico Sociale di Bormio, led by art therapist Elena Pedranzini.

The exhibition represented an important moment of encounter between art, mental health, and social relationships. Visitors were guided through an emotional and symbolic journey, where the exhibited works – created by the users of the CPS – explored the concept of "home" as a physical, emotional, and identity space. The represented landscapes, both real and imaginary, told personal experiences, intimate reflections, and shared memories, giving back the image of an art that welcomes, heals, and creates connections.

The inauguration took place on May 21 in the presence of the educators from the Centro Psico Sociale, Councillor Luca Della Valle – who followed the project with the support of APT Sondalo – and an attentive and participative audience. In the following days, the exhibition recorded excellent participation, also involving local schools and contributing to raise awareness among citizens about the issues of inclusion and psychological well-being.

The conclusion of the exhibition, on Saturday, May 24, was linked to a moment of great aggregation: the Spring Party, promoted by APT Sondalo, transformed the closure of the event into a true community celebration. The central moment of the evening was the concert by the group “I Dépôt,” a band formed within the Mental Health Services of Sondrio, composed of users, operators, and volunteers. Their music managed to convey authentic emotions, reinforcing the message of welcome, humanity, and sharing.

The exhibition "Feeling at Home" left a deep mark on the community, demonstrating how it is possible to build bridges between art and care, between territory and relationships. An opportunity to rediscover, in feeling welcomed, the strength of mutual recognition and caring for one another.
