The first weekend of Gustosando in Valtellina has concluded.
The itinerary of Traona, which opened the dances of the new edition, saw an excellent participation of visitors who tasted the gastronomic specialties and Valtellinese wines that accompanied the dishes prepared for the occasion. Great success also for the Wine Dog Trekking path, designed for four-legged friends but open to anyone wanting to take a walk among the vineyards up to the hamlets of Pianezzo and Moncucco. In particular, from Pianezzo it was possible to admire an extraordinary view of the Lower Valley from Talamona to Lake Como, while tasting the wines offered by the local winery.
“The feedback received from participants has been extremely positive and represents an important stimulus to continue enhancing the cultural and landscape heritage that Traona holds – thus Giorgio Arietti, President of the Pro Loco of Traona –. The path has been conceived as an experience for everyone: a couple of hours of tranquility among good food, good wine, and suggestive and characteristic wineries.”
The beating heart of the event was the town square, recently renewed and made even more welcoming. Here, musical events, games, entertainments, and workshops for children were held, in addition to the possibility of having lunch and dinner in a festive and convivial atmosphere. The exceptional guest of Saturday evening was the Dutch artist Nathalie Aarts, who with her dance music accompanied by Radio Station One got the entire audience dancing and having fun.
The following weekend, the itinerary of Traona will again welcome visitors, with the same formula that has met with such appreciation. A special thank you goes to the Pro Loco of Traona and all the associations involved, who with commitment and passion made the management of the wineries and the walk possible.
Adding to the offer for the weekend of September 27/28 will be Talamona with its ancient courtyards. An immersive experience in culinary tradition through seven stops among breathtaking landscapes, historic alleys, and traditional wineries, which will be not only tasting but also visual. On Saturday, the appointment is also with the Festa del Boscaiolo in the area of Ponte dei Frati, while at 6 PM there will be a concert by the Coro Valtellina at the Curtìf of Mazzun. Finally, in the square, there will be no shortage of entertainment and activities for both adults and children throughout the weekend.
