The project “Il Sesto Cerchio”, part of the Cultural Olympiad Milano Cortina 2026, stops in Livigno with two scheduled events on Friday, October 24: “Sci clubbing”, at 16:00 near the Snowfarm, and “Randagio – Perdi solo quando ti arrendi”, at 21:00 at the Cinelux.
The project, promoted by the Provincia di Sondrio and the Comune di Verona, ideally connects the two territories that will be featured in the upcoming 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, bringing together art, culture, and sports through performances, shows, and educational activities spread across Valtellina and Verona.
“Sci clubbing” is a participatory experience that invites the audience to interact with performers, objects, iPods, and headphones in a performative action that takes place in open and boundary spaces, where movement and sound blend into a single collective experience.
Conceived and choreographed by Chiara Frigo, with dramaturgical consultancy by Riccardo de Torrebruna, in collaboration with Sharing Training Verona and curated by Nicoletta Scrivo.
In the evening, at the Cinelux di Livigno, “Randagio – Perdi solo quando ti arrendi”, a theatrical performance based on the homonymous novel by Serena Marchi, winner of the Premio Letteratura Sportiva “Gianni Mura”, will be staged.
The work tells the life of Olympic champion Fulvio Valbusa: from childhood in the Veronese mountains to the gold medal in Turin 2006, culminating in a return to his roots as a forest ranger, alongside the return of the wolf in the Monti Lessini.
Featuring Stefano Scherini on stage, directed by Francesco “Bolo” Rossini, with sets and costumes by Gregorio Zurla, light design by Nicolò Pozzerle, and original music by Andrea Gianessi.
Admission is free, with mandatory reservation via the MyLivignoPass App, the digital tool that allows access to and participation in experiences organized in the area.
The stop in Livigno represents a new moment of connection between art and sports, in a territory that will be an Olympic protagonist and, through culture, is preparing to live and share the values of the Games.
