Chiuro, November 19 – The 17th edition of the drawing contest “Latte di Natale”, promoted by the Latteria Sociale Cooperativa di Chiuro, has concluded with great participation. The initiative involved the primary schools of the province of Sondrio, inviting girls and boys to reflect on this year’s theme: “Play with me?”.

For this edition as well, the response from the schools has been enthusiastic: 3,352 drawings were received from every corner of the province, confirming the strong bond between the schools and a project that, for seventeen years, has promoted play, imagination, and the educational dimension of art.

For the third consecutive year, Tiziana Luciani, psychotherapist and art therapist, actively participated and will elaborate a detailed report on the macro-themes that emerged from the drawings received.

The jury, tasked with evaluating the works based on consistency with the theme, creativity, imagination, use of color, compositional balance, and adherence to the guidelines, selected the winning drawings for each school level.

Here are the top winners for each class:

• Class 1 – Primary School G.B. Marinoni in Tirano (1st):
  Drawing: “The autumn bonfire”
• Class 2 – Primary School of Chiesa in Valmalenco (2B):
  Drawing: “Colors with me?”
• Class 3 – Primary School of Chiuro (3rd):
  Drawing: “Blindfolded game during carnival”
• Class 4 – Primary School M. Folli in Piateda (4th):
  Drawing: “One two three star all together”
• Class 5 – Primary School of Aprica (5A):
  Drawing: “Let’s play basketball”

Among the class winners, the absolute winner of the 2025 edition has been awarded to the drawing created by the 4th grade of the Primary School M. Folli in Piateda.

As per tradition, the selected winning work has been reproduced on the one-liter whole milk packages produced by the Latteria di Chiuro, available in stores throughout the Christmas season.

“The extraordinary number of drawings received is a great source of satisfaction for us – commented Franco Marantelli Colombin, president of the Latteria Sociale Cooperativa di Chiuro – and confirms the educational and social value of this project. Every year, we enthusiastically renew our commitment to support schools and the creativity of our youth.”

In recognition of the efforts made by the children, during the first half of December, a representative of the Latteria will personally visit the schools to deliver participation certificates and a jar of fresh yogurt produced in Chiuro to each participating student.

All the drawings submitted will be published on the official website dedicated to the contest, which has become a true tradition.
