It’s Christmas time, a time for celebrations and many initiatives that will accompany residents and visitors during the holidays. This year, Sondalo is preparing to experience a Christmas season rich in events designed to offer moments of sharing, fun, and discovery, in a welcoming and authentic atmosphere.

The holiday calendar offers events for all ages, with particular attention to children and families: puppet shows, animations, creative workshops, and activities in the library accompany cultural initiatives such as the openings of the Museo dei Sanatori, providing opportunities to learn about the history and identity of the area in an engaging way.

There are also proposals dedicated to nature and sports lovers, with excursions, fat-bike trips, snow experiences, and outdoor activities, ideal for experiencing winter actively and sharing moments of leisure immersed in the Valtellinese landscape.

A large space is also reserved for tradition and the magic of Christmas, with the nativity scenes of the contest “Presepi in strada”, which involves Sondalo and its fractions. Thanks to a dedicated map, it will be possible to follow a suggestive path through art, faith, and creativity, discovering handmade artifacts created with care and passion. Additionally, the celebrations that have always characterized this period are unmissable, including the historic celebration of Gabinàt, particularly loved by children and a symbol of identity, community, and tradition.

A Christmas to be spent in company, in the spirit of hospitality and participation, because in Sondalo, the holidays become a special occasion to be together and experience the territory in all its facets.
