Nature and fauna of the Orobie at your fingertips
An immersive experience in the heart of the Alps
In the heart of the Parco delle Orobie Valtellinesi, in Aprica, there is the Alpine Eco-Faunistic Observatory, a unique naturalistic area. Inaugurated on July 25, 1997, and directed by Dott. Pedroni, a naturalist biologist, the observatory offers visitors the opportunity to closely learn about the flora and fauna typical of the alpine environment, without disturbing its natural balance.
🌳 A protected area of over 25 hectares
The Observatory covers an area of over 25 hectares, carefully defined, in a region of extraordinary scenic beauty. Inside it, there is an equipped educational-naturalistic itinerary that is easy to walk, designed to guide visitors in discovering the different species present in the park.
👣 The path is suitable for everyone: families, school groups, nature enthusiasts, and naturalist photographers.

Among the main species hosted within the Observatory, you can encounter:
- 🦌 Chamois
- 🐐 Ibex
