In Grosotto,(SO) there is the Santuario della Beata Vergine delle Grazie, one of the most significant places of worship in the area.
Its history begins in 1487, when, according to tradition, the village was spared from looting thanks to the intervention of the Virgin. In gratitude, the inhabitants decided to build a church, consecrated in 1490. Over the centuries, the sanctuary has been enlarged and enriched, becoming a point of reference for the community and visitors.
🎨 What to see inside
As soon as you cross the threshold, you are welcomed by a unique nave with frescoed vaults and stucco decorations. Among the most notable works:

- Statue of the Madonna and Child: a wooden sculpture attributed to Giacomo del Maino, dating back to 1490, located in the second chapel on the right.
- 18th-century organ: with a carved wooden case, restored in 1873 by the Serassi brothers.
- Painting of the Holy Family: a work by Marcello Venusti, a pupil of Michelangelo, dated 1563.
