Dance festival steps

On March 20 and 21, 2026, the cultural association riverbero invites you to Steps, the Festival of Dance of the Migros Cultural Percentage, which celebrates its 20th edition in 2026.

For the occasion, at Poschiavo in the gymnasiums of the municipal school, the Belgian company Circumstances presents the show “Beyond”.
Beyond is a poetic and energetic show for everyone, starting from six years old. Six performers test a series of limits and ultimately overcome them together. 

Each of them is an expert in a different discipline, from dance to acrobatics to pole dance. 

With the help of ladders of various sizes, a dynamic and unstable playground is created that everyone explores together. The members of Circumstances dance, climb, float, and take risks in the choreography of the Belgian Piet Van Dycke.

Together, they explore their own limits and collective ones, playfully seeking to discover how far they can push themselves. 

Here, the set design plays a central role: the ladders become fascinating supporting characters, as well as a strong symbol of connection. 

Beyond thus addresses an important and omnipresent theme: how can bridges be built to make boundaries disappear?
