Once again this year, it’s time for  Casai, Campascio la Chestnut Festival!

On 18 October in Valposchiavo, the fruits of the land are celebrated

During the «Chestnut Week» from 11 to 18 October, everything revolves around the chestnut. The line-up includes delicious food experiences, guided tours through the chestnut groves, and chestnuts roasted on an open fire for everyone. The highlight of «Chestnut Week» is the real «Chestnut Festival» on 18 October in Brusio.

A market with chestnut-based products, brasqué, that is, chestnuts roasted over the fire by the Marunat, brings this atmospheric autumn celebration to life.

The «Marunat» roast local chestnuts until 16.00

10.00 - 15.00 ENTERTAINMENT FOR CHILDREN
During the chestnut festival, children can take part in activities organised by the Gruppo Gioco Pinguin in Brusio

10.10 GUIDED TOUR OF THE OIL MILL
Nicolò Paganini shows you how olive groves are cultivated in Campascio.
Meeting point: Campascio Station at 10.10. Duration 30 minutes. Free entry. No booking required

11.00 GUIDED TOURS OF THE CHESTNUT GROVES
Some owners of the groves will take you along to discover the history and special features of their chestnut orchards.
Meeting point: Infopoint, Casai Sports Centre, Campascio. Free entry. No booking required

12.00 LUNCH
Delicious autumn menu based on chestnuts. Booking not necessary

14.00 GUIDED TOUR OF THE OIL MILL
