The Camminata in… Rosa takes place from Sondalo to Lovero on Sunday 25 October 2026, and is a non-competitive walk dedicated to cancer prevention, promoted by the Associazione Amazzoni ODV as part of October in Rosa.

The event offers a refreshed format, with a staged route along the Sentiero Valtellina that combines movement, awareness-raising and moments for coming together. A chance to spend a day outdoors and draw attention to the importance of prevention, involving people of all ages.

A walk to support prevention

Organised by the Associazione Amazzoni ODV, the Camminata in… Rosa forms part of the October in Rosa initiatives— the month dedicated to raising awareness of breast cancer prevention.

The event is designed to be accessible to everyone, thanks to a non-competitive route that is straightforward and broken down into stages. Each participant will be able to choose their own starting point at the time of registration, taking part in the walk in line with their own capabilities.

The route will pass through Sondalo, Grosotto and Lovero, with refreshment stops and moments dedicated to socialising and reflection.

The programme for the Camminata in… Rosa

9:00

Sondalo – Cittadella dello Sport

Welcome and registration of participants, distribution of the Amazzoni rucksack and breakfast. There will be welcome remarks, followed by the start of the walk, scheduled for around 9:30.

11:00

Grosotto – Prati di Punta

Intermediate stop with a refreshment point for a snack.

13:00

Lovero – Parco dell'Adda

Stop for a packed lunch, followed by recreational activities, moments for socialising and a reflection on cancer prevention, with an address by Dr Patrizia Franzini.

Useful information and registrations

Participation costs a registration fee of €20 for adults and €10 for children under 12.

Registrations must be completed by Thursday 22 October 2026.

Refreshment points are planned along the route, and the event will be cancelled in the event of bad weather. The organisers accept no liability for any damage to people or property before, during or after the event.

The Camminata in… Rosa is a shared community occasion, where the simple act of walking becomes an opportunity to promote a culture of prevention and share a message of care for health.
