π Ingredients (for 4 people)
- 1 generous slice of young Valtellina Casera DOP
- 1 pack of chicken breast slices
- 4 eggs
- Bread crumbs to taste
- 100 g of prosciutto crudo slices
- 1 pack of rectangular puff pastry
- Fresh sage to taste
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg yolk (for brushing)
π¨βπ³ Step-by-step preparation
- Beat the eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Dip the chicken slices first in the egg, then in the bread crumbs.
- Fry them in hot oil until golden, then let them drain on paper towels.
- Cut the Valtellina Casera DOP into thin slices.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Spread the slices of prosciutto crudo, then the fried chicken cutlets, and finally the cheese and a few leaves of sage.
- Roll the pastry tightly, seal the edges well.
- Pierce the surface with a fork and brush with the egg yolk.
- Bake in a preheated static oven at 200Β°C for 20-25 minutes, until golden.
