Introduction

Of intense color and slightly tart taste, cranberries are perfect for making a natural and aromatic jam, enriched with a pinch of cinnamon and a splash of grappa to enhance the aromas.
This simple and homemade recipe is ideal for those who love authentic, rustic, and slightly spicy flavors.
Great to spread on warm bread, pair with aged cheeses, or as a side for roast meat or game dishes. ๐ŸŒฒ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ

๐Ÿ“ Ingredients (for about 3 jars)

  • 1 kg of fresh cranberries
  • 250 g of granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿณ Step-by-step Preparation

  1. Wash and drain the cranberries, then pour them into a tall pot.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. When they start boiling, add the sugar and the teaspoon of cinnamon.
  4. Lower the heat and let it simmer slowly for 1.5 hours, continuing to stir regularly.
  5. When the jam has reached a thick and shiny consistency, let it cool slightly.
  6. Pour into sterilized jars, add 1 tablespoon of grappa on the surface for each jar, and seal tightly.
