Albaredo per San Marco is about 25 km from Sondrio and 80 km from Milan. You can reach it by car by taking the SS38 as far as Morbegno, then continuing on the SP8 toward Albaredo. During the winter months, it’s recommended to check the conditions of the mountain roads.​

Albaredo per San Marco is a compact village, easily explored on foot. Free parking is located at the entrance to the town and near the main attractions.

The best time to visit is from May to October, when the trails are accessible and nature is at its best. In winter, the village is ideal for snowshoeing and hikes in the snow.
