Attenti al Lucio – Villa di Tirano (14 November)
On Saturday 14 November at 9pm, at the Centro Polifunzionale: the songs of Lucio Dalla performed by people who genuinely worked with him, from Ricky Portera to Pierdavide Carone. All proceeds go to AIDO.
Tickets are available at the Comune office in Villa di Tirano, at Il Mosaico bookshop in Tirano, and at Il Faro bookshop in Sondrio.

Sondrio Festival 2026 – Sondrio (26–29 November)
The international documentary showcase about parks is back, between Teatro Sociale and Piazza Garibaldi: 14 documentaries in competition, meetings with guests, exhibitions and activities for families. It kicks off on 24 and 25 with the introductory events, with repeats on 30.

Monday 9 November
Week of Kindness – Morbegno
Until 14 November, the S. Antonio complex fills up with meet-ups, readings and creative workshops for families, a cooking course and the planting of a garden dedicated to kindness. For adults, children, families and schools. Free entry, with different opening times day by day.

Wednesday 11 November
San Martino Fair – Tirano
Tirano celebrates its patron saint with the San Martino fair. In the town, the tradition has been recorded since 1834.

Trofeo Mattias 2026 – Livigno
On 11 and 12 November, at Plaza Placheda, 120 students from 10 hospitality schools go head-to-head in front of a panel of star chefs. There’s also a members-of-the-public jury, open to the public: limited places, so you need to register. Plus: demonstrations from the Risto Team and tastings of Italian products.

Thursday 12 November
Ciao Eva – Tirano
At 8.15pm, at Cinema Teatro Mignon: the absolute premiere of the new show by the Barfi & Friends theatre company, by Baruffini, celebrating 25 years of activity. If you can’t make it on Thursday, there are repeat performances: 19 and 26 November, and 3 December.

The century is mobile – Chiavenna
At 8.30pm, at Teatro della Società Democratica Operaia, Gabriele Del Grande presents his multimedia monologue about the history of migration in Europe, told from the point of view of the future. Words and images. Admission by free donation.

Friday 13 November
Education (not) is a game for kids – Sondrio
At 8.45pm at Cinema Excelsior: the first of two cinema evenings about education, growth and relationships within families. It starts with Lady Bird by Greta Gerwig: Christine, an adolescent torn between the desire for independence and a complicated relationship with her mother. On 20 November it’s C’era una volta mia madre by Ken Scott.

Under the sky of Piazzi – Tirano
At 8.30pm at Il Mosaico bookshop, Largo Risorgimento 12: Luca Invernizzi, founder of the Associazione Astrofili Valtellinesi, presents his book together with Anna Foppoli. Two anniversaries in one evening: 200 years since the death of the Valtellinese astronomer Giuseppe Piazzi, and 30 years since the association was founded. The book also features Ceres, the first asteroid discovered by Piazzi

- Autumn in Valtellina at Hotel Sassella – Grosio: autumn menu at Ristorante Jim, with game, pumpkin, porcini mushrooms and chestnuts.
- The new menu at Osteria da Cotti & Crudi – Albosaggia: Valtellina classics and fish on the same menu, from homemade pizzoccheri to missoltini with polenta, right through to tagliatelle with lobster.
