After the summer success of the event “Un Brindisi a Te(i)” and the exhibition “Valtellina. Il senso del vino”, a new appointment intertwining wine, art, and alpine identity returns to Palazzo Besta. The event on December 7, 2025, titled “Un Brindisi a Te(i). Olympic Winter Edition”, is born in continuity with the exhibition “Valtellina. Il senso del vino”, inaugurated in the ancient cellars of the Palazzo and curated by journalist and wine educator Sara Missaglia and director Silvia Biagi, in an immersive journey that tells the story of Valtellina through the senses, history, and cultural heritage of the territory.
The event is promoted by the Comune di Teglio in collaboration with Infopoint Teglio and the Direzione Regionale Musei nazionali Lombardia, the institute of the Ministry of Culture to which the Palazzo Besta museum belongs.
The initiative is inspired by winter values, the Olympic spirit, and the tradition of the territory, proposing a cultural and convivial format articulated in three moments.
1. Introductory conference by Sara Missaglia
The appointment will open with a presentation dedicated to the theme “The wine of Valtellina, the senses and the territory”, during which Sara Missaglia will guide the audience in a narrative related to alpine viticulture, wine culture, and its tasting from a sensory perspective.
2. Guided tour of the exhibition and the Museum
Subsequently, participants will be accompanied on a visit to the exhibition “Valtellina. Il senso del vino” at Palazzo Besta and the Antiquarium Tellinum. The tour, led by Silvia Biagi, Director of the Museum, archaeologist Paola Stucchi, and Sara Missaglia, will offer an integrated view of art, history, landscape, and emotions, reflecting the cultural richness of the Valtellinese context. During the visit to the palace, a short stop will also be dedicated to the ethnographic section of the museum: here, after a brief introduction to farming tools and traditions by Cinzia Gatti, it will also be possible to watch the traditional demonstration of scarellatura, an authentic and symbolic gesture of Tellina cuisine.
3. Tasting and samplings from the Accademia del Pizzocchero di Teglio
The concluding moment will be dedicated to taste with a guided tasting by Sara Missaglia of wines from the cellars Caven Camuna and Nera Vini, in the presence of the producers. In pairing, the Tasting of pizzoccheri from the Accademia del Pizzocchero di Teglio, prepared for the occasion and served hot.
The event represents a new piece of the cultural project of Teglio, where wine, art, and identity heritage dialogue in an excellence historical framework.
