Neoclassical architecture in the heart of the city
Located on the western side of Piazza Garibaldi, in the center of Sondrio, Palazzo Lambertenghi is a significant example of 19th-century neoclassical architecture. Built in 1826 according to the design of architect Carlo Lambertenghi, the building harmoniously fits into the urban context of the square, alongside other prominent buildings such as the Teatro Sociale and the Banca d'Italia.

The palace features a sober and elegant façade, with regular windows and stone frames that emphasize its linearity. The building extends over several floors, with a ground floor characterized by large arched openings and upper floors with rectangular windows. The roof is a pavilion roof, typical of constructions of the time.
