Visite guidate ai castagneti di Campocologno

During the Chestnut Week in Valposchiavo (CH), you can get up close to the chestnut groves in the Brusio area on a guided visit led by some of the grove owners.

The event takes place on 10, 13, 16 and 17 October 2026, with a meet-up at 10:15 am at Campocologno Railway Station. Switzerland Tourism

The walk offers the chance to learn about the local history of chestnut growing and the role this fruit has played in the lives of families in the valley. Participants will be able to observe the chestnut trees and find out about the work needed to care for and preserve the groves.

During the visit, there will also be a tasting of hot chestnuts accompanied by a glass of wine from the nearby Valtellina. After that, the programme continues in Brusio with a three-course autumn lunch. Switzerland Tourism
