VinInFesta 2026 takes place in Dazio on 24 October 2026 and is a food and wine event dedicated to the wines of the Costiera dei Cech, now in its 22nd edition.
The event highlights the area’s winemaking tradition through a programme that combines scientific insights, awards and tastings. The focus of the 2026 edition will be the link between climate change and viticulture, with particular attention on vineyard adaptation strategies and the protection of local biodiversity.
The event is a chance to bring together producers, researchers, industry professionals and wine lovers, with the aim of exploring the challenges and opportunities facing viticulture in the Costiera dei Cech.
The theme chosen for this edition, “Climate is changing, vineyards are adapting”, will be developed through talks curated by the Fondazione Fojanini di Studi Superiori di Sondrio and the Department of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences of the University of Milan.
The sessions will look at the effects of climate change on the cultivation of the vine, the consequences of the most recent wine-growing seasons, and the role of biodiversity and local grape varieties in adaptation strategies.
There will also be space to showcase local produce, with the awarding of the wines entered and a guided tasting that puts the winning wines head-to-head with some Piedmontese productions.
VinInFesta brings together the cultural and scientific side with the convivial one, offering the opportunity to get to know the wines-and-viticulture heritage of the Costiera dei Cech up close.
The awards ceremony for the wines in competition is one of the key moments of the day, while the afternoon tasting will allow participants to explore the features and differences between wines from different wine-growing areas.
The initiative involves the Comunità Montana Valtellina di Morbegno, the Comune di Dazio, the Fondazione Fojanini di Studi Superiori and the Consorzio Turistico Porte di Valtellina, together with the local organisations that support the event.
Meetings and the main activities will take place at the Centro Polifunzionale di Dazio, via Vittorio Veneto 48.
Lunch at 12:30 will instead be hosted in the sports field marquee at via G. Lombardini.
For lunch, bookings are required by Thursday 22 October 2026, with the following fees:

"Nascosta dietro la caratteristica formazione montuosa del Culmine di Dazio, che fa da spartiacque fra bassa e media Valtellina, sta un’incantevole piana, dove riposa il paesino di Dazio, a 568 metri sul livello del male, uno dei più piccoli della provincia di Sondrio (3,73 kmq). Qui possiamo trovare piante da frutta, oleandri, allori e palme, grazie al clima particolarmente mite che si gode anche nella stagione invernale.Clicca qui per avere più informazioni" "
