Savory Tartlets with Bresaola, Mini Mozzarella, and Cherry Tomatoes 🍴

Ingredients (for 4 people):

  • 1 roll of pasta brisée
  • 135 g of mini cherry mozzarella
  • 100 g of Bresaola della Valtellina IGP
  • 80 g of cherry tomatoes
  • Salt to taste
  • Oregano to taste
  • Songino or fresh basil for decoration
  • Butter for greasing the molds
  • Dry beans for blind baking

Preparation:

  1. Prepare the base:
    Roll out the pasta brisée and, using a cookie cutter or a bowl, cut out 6 discs slightly larger than the tartlet molds.
  2. Line the molds:
    Thoroughly butter each mold, then place the pastry discs inside. Make sure the edges adhere well and prick the bottom with a fork.
  3. Blind baking:
    Place a square of parchment paper on each base and pour a handful of dry beans on top. Bake in a static oven preheated to 190°C for 15 minutes, until the bases are golden.
  4. Filling the tartlets:
    Once cooled, remove the paper and beans. Fill with 2 slices of Bresaola rolled up, 3 mini mozzarella, and cherry tomatoes cut into quarters.
  5. Seasoning and decoration:
    Adjust with a pinch of salt and a sprinkle of oregano. Decorate with leaves of songino or fresh basil for a touch of color and freshness 🌿.
