From 9 to 11 October 2026, Villa di Tirano celebrates autumn with the 36th Apple and Wine Festival, an event dedicated to the flavors, traditions, and experiences of Valtellina. For three days, the town comes alive with tastings, traditional food, markets, music, exhibitions, activities for families, and excursions among vineyards and mountains.
The event, now in its 47th edition of the Autumn Festival, highlights two iconic local products: Valtellina apples and the grapes from the Valtellina vineyards.

Friday 9 October
From 19:30, music and conviviality take center stage with “A me la birra”, an evening with food, a bar service, and a show by the Spritz Band.
Saturday 10 October
The day begins at 14:00 with the Marathon Volley and a multisport afternoon for children and teenagers, featuring trials of football, cycling, zumba, rugby, basketball, roller skating, and archery.
At 19:00, at the Polifunzionale venue, the official opening of the 36th Apple and Wine Festival takes place, with the participation of the Banda Cittadina di Villa di Tirano. The Laser Show follows at 19:30, the festival dinner at 20:15, and the dancing evening with the orchestra Davide Salvi.

Green and white spätzle with speck and thyme, scaloppina with porcini mushrooms and a potato mash with chestnuts, apple cake or apple yogurt, and Levissima water.
Sunday 11 October
Sunday is the central day of the festival, between market stalls, exhibitions, tastings, and entertainment.
From 9:30 the exhibition areas open, along with the exhibitions, the craft market, the Angolo dei Sapori di Valtellina, and stands dedicated to local products. Don’t miss the pomological exhibition by the Fondazione Fojanini, with traditional varieties and new apple selections.
At 10:00, the tour starts with the little train to discover Villa di Tirano, with stops between Contrada Beltramelli and the Church of Sant’Antonio. At the same time, the Holy Mass is scheduled in the parish church of San Lorenzo.
From 10:30, panoramic flights by helicopter are available for the price of 40 euro. At 12:30 lunch is served at the festival with the traditional Mela-menù.

Apple risotto or pizzoccheri, polenta with sausage, Valtellina cheese, apple dessert, apple and Levissima water.
The afternoon continues with shows, musical and folkloristic performances, activities for children, and the 23rd Mela-canto Choral Review, from 16:00 at the “G. Mascioni” Auditorium.
At 17:00, the lottery draw is scheduled. From 19:30, the buffet opens, and at 21:00 the concert by the Tribute Band Zona 883, dedicated to the greatest hits of Max Pezzali and Mauro Repetto.

Parking is available at Acqua e Sapone/MD on Via Nazionale, also covered and served by a shuttle, and at Fratelli Magro Officine Meccaniche on Via Europa.
On Sunday 11 October, the shuttle bus runs from Tirano station to the festival at 11:00, with return from the festival to the station at 16:45.
