Oktober Fest takes place at La Torre Lounge Bar & Restaurant on Saturday 17 October 2026, and is a food and drink event dedicated to the flavours of Bavarian tradition.
A date that brings to mind the atmosphere of Oktoberfest through one of the most representative pairings in German cuisine: pork knuckle and beer. A proposal that puts the flavours of tradition at the heart of it, and the pleasure of sharing a moment at the table.

Le origini di Piateda sono remote ed oscure come gran parte dei comuni della Valtellina; gli studiosi rivelano, attraverso le incisioni rupestri scoperte a Chiuro, Teglio e Grosio, che la valle fosse già abitata nel II a.C. da popolazioni affini a quelle della Valcamonica almeno sul solatio versante retico. Durante la conquista romana la Valtellina era abitata dai Vennones o Vennonetes il cui territorio fu incluso nella Regio XI Transpadana. Difficilmente il versante orobico, per il clima più ostile e le asprezze del territorio poteva richiamare insediamenti permanenti tuttavia, vuoi per la progressiva colonizzazione, vuoi per le vie di collegamento attraverso le valli ed i valichi di Vedello, Ambria e Venina con le confinanti valli bergamasche vennero a formarsi i primi insediamenti umani.
