📝 Ingredients (for 4 people)

  • Zucchini (variable quantity, depending on size)
  • Emmental cheese (or another soft cheese)
  • 1 egg
  • Bread crumbs to taste
  • Grated Grana cheese to taste
  • Aromatic herbs to taste (thyme, oregano, rosemary)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Long skewers (or regular ones)

👩‍🍳 Preparation

  1. Slice the zucchini into thin slices lengthwise.
  2. Slice the cheese into thin pieces and place them on each zucchini slice.
  3. Roll the slices into small rolls and secure them with a long skewer or a regular one.
  4. Beat the egg in a bowl with a pinch of salt.
  5. In another bowl, mix together bread crumbs, grated Grana, and the chosen aromatic herbs.
  6. Dip each skewer first in the egg, then in the flavored bread crumbs.
  7. Place the skewers on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and drizzle with a bit of oil.
  8. Cook in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 20 minutes, until golden brown.
