Led by Donata Ciapponi, the workshop offers two sessions to experiment with how scraps, everyday materials and gifts from nature can become tools for exploration, learning and creativity. The programme is aimed at teachers of all levels, educators, enthusiasts, and anyone interested in sustainability and the culture of reuse.
During the first session, you begin by getting to know the materials and the scraps, moving through material-based investigation, supportive tools, hands-on experiences and the creation of the learning set-ups. The second lesson, on the other hand, focuses on practical experimentation, with individual activities, macro and micro constructions, setting up the set-ups, and a final moment for discussion and deeper insights. Access to a small emporium of scraps is also included.
Donata Ciapponi has been a pre-school teacher for over thirty years, and for the past ten years she has been active in projects dedicated to creative reuse. She has taken part in training programmes at the MUBA in Milan and at Artebambini, working as a facilitator for children aged 0–6.

Useful information
The programme includes 2 lessons and costs €60, with all materials included. On top of that, you’ll need to add €10 for membership of the Associazione Culturale Views; the card is valid for one year and allows you to take part in open days as well as the association’s free activities. Payment is made on-site on the first day, by card or cash.
